サウンドウェーブ/Soundwave (especially G1 cartoon) - Transformers

He's cool... and mysterious. A silent type. Speaks in robotic accents with really sound effects.
In Japanese, his first personal pronoun is "俺" (ore). It's surprising, isn't it? Somehow I like it rather than other pronouns, it fits him.
I love his G1 voice, the actor is 政宗一成 (MASAMUNE Issei). He is also the narrator until The Headmasters.
- In ARMORED CORE 2, Issei acts as ストラング (Strung). Some AC fans call this character "教官" (Kyōkan, "the Instructor"), because he directs the Player in the first mission.

V.VII スウィンバーン中心にヴェスパー（とくに第7世代コンビ）/V.VII Swinburne and the Vespers (especially Gen 7 duo!) - ARMORED CORE VI FIRES OF RUBICON

Why do I love Swinburne? I don't know. Maybe that cause is fanart or fanfiction. But I certainly feel his charms.
Many AC pilots, even now, their roles or works are unknown. But Swinburne is different, he's a "treasurer"! So, I can imagine his personality and life, even other Vespers'! Isn't it fantastic?! Yes, we need more information about characters. However, of course, I love FromSoftware's flavor!
Swinburne and Hawkins:
- The two seem more human than other Vespers. Swinburne is cowardly and straight. Hawkins is warm and has sarcastic comments. And 4 legs users? I think they are good fellows. Maybe old-timers in the Vespers and/or the Arquebus. Emotional, but something is broken. Fate of the Generation Seven...
- They occupy important posts. Swinburne is the finance (会計), Hawkins is supplies and the transport (輜重). It means, at least, Snail considers they are "useful" or "obedient" even if it's an older generation than the Eight. Oh Swinburne!
- Fear and Guilt.
  - Their profiles show their painful wounds.
  - I like to imagine their histories.
- The voice actor of:
  - Swinburne is 越後屋コースケ (ECHIGOYA Kosuke). His voice makes me think Swinburne is middle age, and matches Swinburne's personality!
  - Hawkins is 飛田展男 (TOBITA Nobuo). He's a famous actor. Heart-warming and funny voice.
Snail, his honorific is 閣下 (Kakka, perhaps "excellency"). Basically he is called so. But Hawkins doesn't, even Pater too in Chapter 5. Swinburne does, even if no one hears that, Snail isn't there. What the difference... (Yes, most soldiers want to get away from V.II.) It's an interesting difference between Swinburne and Hawkins. The former is faithful to his excellency and approves of the re-education center, though he looks like a "good" person...
- Maybe Hawkins doesn't change his behavior even if he's in front of Snail. I can't imagine he says "your excellency!" to the second leader except banter him. Still, I think Snail overlooks that "rudeness" because... hmm... that is Hawkins as he is? A "familiar face"? Either way, Hawkins is the heart of the Vespers, and wants to protect soldiers against their arrogant leader. I feel so.
- By the way, Freud is called 第1隊長殿 ("the first squad leader", perhaps "the commander"). He has no majestic honorific. It's interesting. "殿" (dono) is certainly an honorific, but that's usual in squads, other leaders are called it too (except Snail). Soldiers are awed by Snail...
O'Keeffe, he also occupies an important post, a very capable agent (and a 4 legs user), but I believe Snail trusts the two of the Generation Seven more than O'Keeffe.
Swinburne has very various lines! Do you listen to all yet?
Swinburne purges equipment of arms when he negotiates with 621.
- What? Why? You idiot, but that's you are! Your fans are attracted by that!
- And you activate the barrier busily. It's funny.
- He seriously tries to escape from death, but he's also plain and honest. He even keeps his promise to pay 621 the reward after all. (Do you allow this waste, Snail?) The treatment that Snail does to Swinburne is interesting. "ミイラ取りがミイラになる" ("The biter is bit.") Maybe Snail doesn't like his behavior except his intellect or loyalty. Snail hates the inferior. Or, the superior to him. (Freud?)
  - Why is it surprising? He reports "everything", and makes Snail pay the reward. Even if the reward is his discretion, I like his act. The scene... Snail's reaction when he was reported by Swinburne... I imagine that. Snail will probably know this matter by documents, but I desire that he calls Swinburne when he sentences V.VII to "the re-education".
  - He doesn't conceal his "ugly" vices. (NOTES: This is my view, he never thinks he does any vice. So he has no reason to "conceal"...)
Swinburne's word surprised me, 卑劣 (Hiretsu, "base", "mean", "dirty"). No... This is war, no one can be fair and clean, right?
- I've never imagined I'd hear any corporation's soldier say that word. But it reveals his thought, what he cares about, how he thinks...
- His vocabulary is formal and difficult. I've never heard the word 頑迷 (Ganmei, "stubborn", "unreasonable") until he says.
  - I think whoever writes his fanfiction will struggle.
From Swinburne's behavior, some fans think he was a civilian. And now he's a "treasurer"? Hmm. I think he has been a soldier since he joined the corporation, he seems to understand his tasks well.

ハーレー・ソーヤー博士/Dr. Harley Sawyer - Poppy Playtime

Amusing, but pathetic. The complete monster. Real genius, and has "lack of humility".
He's attractive...
Great voice, the actor is Baldwin Williams Jr., very very skillful and soulful performances. The Doctor exists!
- In Japan, the actor is 辻井健吾 (TSUJII Kengo). Too massive voice, amazing. He's Dr. Japan.
The Doctor is why I'm studying English. Terrible?
